										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On May 3rd, 2024, the MASAF published the directorial decree no. 198090 on the notice of presentation of projects for the 2024-2025 campaign of the OCM Wine Promotion on third country markets.</p>
<p>The document, in particular, indicates the operative modalities as well as the deadlines for the opening of the national call of the measure and the annexes to be filled in in order to send the application.</p>
<p>In this article we summarise the key information relating to the national call <strong>OCM Vine &#8211; Promotion on Third Country Markets 2024/2025</strong>.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>What is OCM Wine – Promotion on Third Countries Markets call?</h3>
<p>The call OCM Wine &#8211; Promotion on Third Country Markets is a measure that allows funding of projects related to the<strong> promotion of Italian wine products in non-European countries</strong> through activities aimed at improving the competitiveness of the wine sector and the opening, diversification or consolidation of markets.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>To whom is the national call for applications OCM Wine Promotion 2024-2025 addressed?</h3>
<p>Applications may be submitted by the following categories:</p>
<ul>
<li>professional organisations, provided they have as one of their aims the promotion of agricultural products;</li>
<li>wine producer organisations and associations of wine producer organisations;</li>
<li>inter-branch organisations;</li>
<li>protection consortia and their associations and federations;</li>
<li>wine producers, to be understood as companies that have made wine declarations in the last three years and have obtained the products to be promoted from the processing of products upstream of wine, either their own or purchased and/or that market wine of their own production or that of companies associated with them or controlled by them;</li>
<li>public entities with proven experience in the wine sector and in the promotion of agricultural products;</li>
<li>temporary business and purpose associations that ensure the implementation of a unitary programme and business networks.</li>

<h3>Which activities can be financed by the national call OCM Wine Promotion on Third Country Markets 2024-2025?</h3>
<ul>
<li>Public relations, promotion and advertising actions, highlighting the high standards of EU products, particularly in terms of quality, food safety or the environment;</li>
<li>Participation in events, fairs and exhibitions of international importance;</li>
<li>Information campaigns, in particular on quality schemes concerning designations of origin, geographical indications and organic production in the Union;</li>
<li>Studies of new or existing markets necessary for the expansion and consolidation of market outlets;</li>
<li>Studies to evaluate the results of information and promotion activities.</li>
</ul>
<p>It is important to emphasise that, on pain of exclusion, projects must consist of a coherent set of actions and activities suitable for achieving the objectives set.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>How much is the contribution granted?</h3>
<p>The amount of the contribution can cover <strong>up to 50% of the promotional costs</strong> incurred.</p>

<p class="tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta" dir="ltr" data-placeholder="Traduzione"><span class="Y2IQFc" lang="en"><br />
All projects must be submitted by noon on <strong>3 July 2024</strong>, under penalty of exclusion.</span></p>
<p class="tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta" dir="ltr" data-placeholder="Traduzione"><span class="Y2IQFc" lang="en"><br />
Projects and their scoring will be assessed on the basis of:<br />
&#8211; level of analysis and understanding of the context;<br />
&#8211; consistency of the proposed strategy with the programme&#8217;s objectives;<br />
&#8211; quality of the proposed actions;<br />
&#8211; suitability of the actions in terms of increasing demand for the products and/or increasing awareness of the quality schemes;<br />
&#8211; coherence of the financial plan both in relation to the specific actions proposed and to the project objectives.<br />
&#8211; impact on the market.</span></p>

<p>In addition to national and regional projects, the call <strong>OCM Wine &#8211; Promotion in Third Countries Markets </strong>offers the possibility to present also projects that involve companies belonging to different regions, the <strong>multi-regional</strong> ones.</p>
<p>Among the members of the Association of Winexperience companies, mainly formed by wineries from Piedmont, there are also companies from Emilia Romagna: in this case, therefore, given the interest shown by the different entities, LC International has chosen to present a multiregional project having as its goal the <strong>promotion of Denomination wines of the wineries from Piedmont and Emilia Romagna</strong> belonging to Winexperience.</p>
<p>It is the second year that the project &#8220;Winexperience: taste the tradition&#8221; takes part to the OCM Wine &#8211; Promotion in Third Countries Markets call, but last year the Lombardy wineries of the Association participated. In order to carry out the <strong>promotional, information and marketing activities</strong> foreseen by the announcement (which, we remind you, covers up to 60% of the expenses incurred &#8211; here for more information) three key countries for the world of wine have been chosen: <strong>USA</strong>, <strong>China</strong> and <strong>Canada</strong>. Considering the products to be promoted, the <strong>preventive analysis</strong> done by our project managers and the current market trends, these areas were particularly interested in deepening the knowledge of Italian wines &#8220;less mainstream&#8221; for the foreign market, but <strong>representing the Italian quality and tradition related to wine production</strong>. LC International made all the preliminary market studies, wrote and sent the project and will follow for the whole year the activities of the companies and the bureaucracy related to the announcement, <strong>relieving the Association of complex and onerous tasks. </strong></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On 1 August 2018 the MISE published a new decree aimed at <strong>extending the deadline for the completion of the project expenses</strong> related to the Voucher digitalization call.</p>
<p>Also on June 1, Mise published the <a href="https://www.lcinternational.it/en/news/voucher-for-digitalization/">list with the beneficiary companies</a> of the voucher that gives a <strong>maximum of 10 thousand euros</strong> for the <strong>purchase of technologies aimed at digitizing the company</strong> (hardware, software, services) covering the <strong>50% of eligible expenses.</strong></p>

<h3>VOUCHER FOR DIGITALIZATION: THE NEW DEADLINES</h3>
<p>Following the extension, the companies granting the Digitalization Voucher can apply for disbursement after having paid all outstanding expenses <strong>from 14 September 2018 until 14 March 2019</strong>.</p>
<p>The related project costs <strong>must be completed by December 14 2018.</strong></p>

<p>The project “Winexperience – Piedmont” started on March 7th 2018 and will end on December 31st 2018, and following the aims of OCM European measure, it has as objective to inform consumers of the target countries (in this case <strong>USA, Japan, Brazil, Russia, Switzerland, Canada, Norway, South Korea</strong>) about the high quality of Italian wine products (DOC, DOP and IGT), with particular reference to the wines of the Piedmont Region produced by the companies belonging to the association.</p>
<p>This objective will be achieved through the <strong>realization of targeted actions</strong>, so as to ensure the “education” of the target consumer to recognize the quality products and their specificities, and above all, once the project is completed, their distribution. The actions will be of various types and chosen so as to reach the most suitable groups of consumers; each action will also be defined based on the habits of consumers and the customs of the country in which it is implemented.</p>
<p><strong>The definition of the market strategy is the key to the success of a project</strong>, and if well designed it will immediately bring excellent results in visibility and brand awareness.</p>
