<p>The partnership started in 2019 between the Italian Cellars Association and LC International continues. The project &#8220;Abruzzo: a corner of Italy&#8221; has in fact obtained the approval of the Abruzzo Region to be financed by the <strong>OCM Wine &#8211; Promotion on Third Country Markets 2022/2023</strong> call. The OCM notice is a fundamental tool for Italian wine-growing companies, as it allows them to obtain <strong>non-repayable contributions covering up to 50% of the expenses</strong> incurred for the <strong>promotion of wine products</strong> abroad.</p>
<p>The project began on 1 January 2023 and will end on 15 October 2023, and was designed by LC International as the natural continuation of a path of internationalisation for the Association&#8217;s companies that began a few years ago. In view of the excellent results obtained in the previous year, for 2022/<strong>2023 it has been decided to continue the promotional activities of Abruzzo wine products in the United</strong> States and <strong>Switzerland</strong>, adding to these two new markets that, based on the analyses carried out, are extremely attractive for these products: the <strong>United Kingdom</strong> and <strong>Norway</strong>.</p>
<p>The actions that will be carried out will differ from country to country according to different parameters such as type of audience, knowledge and culture of wine, and spending capacity. In general, these are <strong>expertise activities, promotional tastings, media advertising, public relations</strong>. LC International will follow the association throughout the entire period and will also take care of the final reporting of each activity.</p>

<p>The Consorzio di Tutela del Roero was established in 2014 with the aim of carrying out the functions of protection, promotion, enhancement and consumer information on the Piedmontese &#8216;Roero&#8217; DOCG. This objective is followed by the 250 producers and winegrowers of Arneis and Nebbiolo in the Roero area, the grape varieties on which the DOCG is based.</p>
<p>With the desire to <strong>expand its name and quality beyond European countries</strong>, the Consorzio Tutela del Roero turned to LC International to <strong>write, plan and participate</strong> in the project submitted in response to the Regione Piemonte&#8217;s call for tenders &#8216;<strong>OCM Wine – Promotion on Third Country Markets 2022/2023</strong>&#8216;. The result has been the &#8216;Drink Roero&#8217; project, which has obtained non-repayable contributions for the promotion of the area&#8217;s wine products in the countries in which the Consortium showed interest, advised by LC International: <strong>USA, Canada, UK, Switzerland, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, Norway, South-East Asia, Turkey.</strong></p>
<p>The project began on 1 January 2023 and will end on 15 October 2023, a period in which <strong>promotional activities</strong> will be launched in the designated countries, all diversified on the basis of market and sector studies carried out by LC International, in order to achieve the best results in each area. Participation in <strong>trade fairs and tastings, creation of promotional material and PR activities</strong> are just some of the activities planned over the course of the months, with the aim of <strong>increasing the notoriety of the products</strong> being promoted, which in time will lead to a consequent <strong>increase in exports</strong> to new markets.3</p>

<p>Also for the 2021/2022 edition of the OCM Wine &#8211; Promotion on Third Country Markets call, there has been the possibility of creating multi-regional projects, i.e. created and presented by groups of companies from different Italian regions. This was the case of the Premium Wines Association, composed of important wineries from Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia. Lombardy. Apulia and Veneto: with LC International, it presented the &#8216;Taste the Tradition&#8217; project, which started on 1 March 2022 and ends on 31 December 2022.</p>
<p>The member companies showed their willingness to participate in the OCM Vino Promozione call for tenders, which covers up to 50% of the expenses incurred for the promotion of wines, in order to raise awareness of their brands, wines, quality and increase contacts in third countries of interest to them, such as Canada, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the USA, China, Norway and South East Asia.</p>
<p>After thoroughly analysing the markets and ascertaining their interest in the wine products being promoted, LC International has identified for each type of country the activities most favourable to achieving the objectives, always prioritising the needs and capabilities of the companies. Different types of activities were carried out in each country, such as PR actions, amrketing, participation in trade fairs, creation of promotional materials and so on.</p>
<p>LC International has carried out all the preliminary market studies, has written and sent out the project and will follow the companies&#8217; activities and the bureaucracy related to the call for tenders throughout the year, relieving the Association of complex and onerous tasks.</p>

<p>After concluding the &#8220;Taste Lombardy, Taste History&#8221; project studied and created by LC International, Made in Lombardy, an association composed of numerous Lombardy wineries from the Region&#8217;s most prestigious wine areas, chose to start a new path of internationalization and promotion based on the results acquired through previous participation in the call for proposals.</p>
<p>Once it had analyzed the feedback and contacts obtained in the previously chosen target countries, created provisional reports on the estimated markets and listened to the needs of the wineries, LC International created No. 3 &#8220;Lombardy in a glass&#8221; projects each with promotional actions targeted according to the end users and the countries involved, which are: USA; UK, Switzerland and Russia; Brazil and Japan.</p>
<p>The OCM Wine Promotion on Third Country Markets call is designed to help Italian wine companies open up to non-European markets, particularly with actions aimed at promoting participants&#8217; products and their brands, such as public relations activities, organization of promotional tastings, creation and production of promotional material, participation in fairs and so on. Activities, in short, that make it possible to obtain new industry contacts and subsequently open new market outlets.  The costs incurred by these actions are covered up to 50 % by a grant.</p>
<p>In order to achieve more than satisfactory results, it is necessary to create a plan by studying each individual market and calibrating the different actions according to the end users and the habits of the markets.For this reason, the creation of three different projects proves to be of paramount importance. LC International takes care of the whole process, starting from the study of foreign trades, to project writing, reporting, and closing, allowing the Association on the one hand to succeed in obtaining the grant, and on the other hand an easing of time spent on bureaucracy.</p>
