Description

Given the results obtained in previous years, we decided to propose the project “Taste Lombardy, Taste History” to a large group of Lombard companies belonging to the Association Made in Lombardy. After analysing the needs and capabilities (whether financial or management) of the individual wineries, we decided to propose two projects, in order to jointly cover different extra EU markets.

The first project “Taste Lombardy, taste history” is aimed exclusively at the star and stripe market, in order to continue the work started in previous years. The second one, on the other hand, has been planned to target the Chinese and Swiss markets. China, in fact, is showing increasing interest in Lombard wines, while Switzerland is the closest non-EU area to us, a fact that facilitate all the promotional activities that are financed through the call OCm WIne – Promotion of Third Country Markets. The call 2018/2019 addressed to the Lombardy region (which began on March 1 and ends on December 31, 2019) aims to spread knowledge of Lombard wine products, focusing primarily on the excellent quality of the same but also giving importance to what is the territory. All this is implemented through precise actions planned through a deep study of the markets, so as to know the cultures, habits, tastes of the population, commercial analysis.
