Also for the 2021/2022 edition of the OCM Wine – Promotion on Third Country Markets call, there has been the possibility of creating multi-regional projects, i.e. created and presented by groups of companies from different Italian regions. This was the case of the Premium Wines Association, composed of important wineries from Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia. Lombardy. Apulia and Veneto: with LC International, it presented the ‘Taste the Tradition’ project, which started on 1 March 2022 and ends on 31 December 2022.

The member companies showed their willingness to participate in the OCM Vino Promozione call for tenders, which covers up to 50% of the expenses incurred for the promotion of wines, in order to raise awareness of their brands, wines, quality and increase contacts in third countries of interest to them, such as Canada, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the USA, China, Norway and South East Asia.

After thoroughly analysing the markets and ascertaining their interest in the wine products being promoted, LC International has identified for each type of country the activities most favourable to achieving the objectives, always prioritising the needs and capabilities of the companies. Different types of activities were carried out in each country, such as PR actions, amrketing, participation in trade fairs, creation of promotional materials and so on.

LC International has carried out all the preliminary market studies, has written and sent out the project and will follow the companies’ activities and the bureaucracy related to the call for tenders throughout the year, relieving the Association of complex and onerous tasks.
