OCM Wine – Promotion on Third Coutry Markets 2020/2021 – Piedmont Region
For years, the Associazione di Imprese Winexperience, an organization that unites a large number of Piedmontese wineries, has been implementing a medium-long term internationalization process with LC International to promote the DOC, DOP and IGT products of its members, their brands, expand knowledge of the regional wine territory and expand economic contacts abroad. To do so, they have chosen to take advantage of the non-repayable funding made available by the call OCM Wine – Promotion in Third Country Markets that covers up to 60% of promotional, advertising and information expenses.
In order to draw up the project to be presented for the year 2020/2021, LC International has previously analyzed the data collected at the end of the past program and listened to the needs of Winexperience, more and more interested in increasing its activities in the extra-European area. Compared to 2019/2020, it has been decided to eliminate the activities in Mexico and Canada, however adding to the countries with contacts already in progress (Japan, Brazil, Russia, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, South East Asia Area) also South Korea and United Kingdom, two territories potentially inclined to the discovery of these wines of Piedmont also considering the lesser presence of these products in their markets.
In every country will be spotted diversified actions according to the target, to the presence of existing or not existing contacts, to the spending capacity of the market, to the culture, therefore creating ad hoc strategies according to the location. By choosing LC International, the Associazione di Imprese Winexperience can not only recover most of its promotional expenses, but also rely on its foreign agents present in different areas of the world and not waste time and money in complex bureaucracy.
