Description
The “DOCG Experience” projects have been carried out by LC International on behalf of the Premium Wines Association, a new company operating in the Lombardy area that unites wineries from different wine areas of the Lomabrdy region, from Franciacorta to Valtellina. For the proponent these are the first projects created to participate in the call for proposals OCM Wine – Promotion on Third Country Markets; for this reason LC International proceeded by steps, first analyzing the needs of the Association and their financial capacity, then creating an effective business plan to show the opportunities for development.
In agreement with the applicants, it has been decided to create two projects with the same name, each with objectives calibrated on the territories defined as targets. The first “DOCG Experience” is aimed at the markets of China and Switzerland, chosen on the basis of their attractiveness and their interest in Italian wines; the second project, on the other hand, has been designed to carry out actions in the United States and Japan.
The OCM Wine – Promotion on Third Country Markets call promotes the creation of promotional activities in selected non-EU territories, such as promotional events, tastings, participation in trade fairs, meetings with distributors and buyers and much more. The general objective is to spread knowledge of Lombard wine products, focusing primarily on their excellent quality but also giving importance to the territory and production methods, so as to communicate a complete image of the wines and companies involved.
